St. John's Episcopal Church in Youngstown recently presented the Youngstown Free Library with a check in the amount of $475, an outreach donation from the proceeds of the church's annual Strawberry Fest in June and its August rummage sale.

Over the years, St. John's has provided financial support to many different groups, organizations and institutions that serve the community. Pictured here are parishioners Karran Swayze and Mary Wieland of St. John's with library director Jan Gilgore. Gilgore said the money will be used for much-needed library materials for the children's room, and thanked the congregation for its generosity.
