Due to the possible extreme conditions, the university is canceling all classes scheduled to begin after 4 p.m. today. In addition, all university offices will also close at 4 p.m. to allow employees ample time to commute before the wind warning takes effect. Because of this, the fall community meeting scheduled for today will be postponed to Monday, Nov. 5, at 3:30 p.m.

The weather and related conditions, including local and regional power outages, road closures, etc., will continue to be monitored, and a decision regarding Tuesday's class schedule will be announced by 6 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 30).

The university's Campus Safety and Facility Services sectors will remain fully staffed during the extreme weather conditions. Anyone in need of assistance from Campus Safety should call Ext. 8111 (use 716-286-8111 off campus). Those in need of Facility Services during business hours should contact Ext. 8430 (or 716-286-8430). During non-business hours, you may direct your call to Campus Safety.

All programs scheduled in the Kiernan Center for this evening have been canceled, but the Kiernan Center will remain open during regular hours for student use. The Gallagher Center will also remain open for regular service hours.
