'Music for Missions' benefit concert this month

St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, will host its first "Music for Missions" concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in its Christian Day School gymnasium. All are welcome to attend.

This event will gather together choirs, musicians, praise bands, and other musical groups from all over Niagara County. Participants include the Revelation band of St. Paul Lutheran Church, The Gathering band of Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, the Soul Esteem band, the Potter's House Mass Choir, the Friedens United Church of Christ Choir, The Redeemed Men's Quartet, as well as performances by Zach Carr and Kelsey Nielsen.

A free will offering will be received at this event to benefit the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission of Niagara Falls (www.niagaramissions.com). Donations will be used for renovations to the NGRM's Berean Room (a Bible study/resource room for the mission's discipleship program).
