Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson told co-host Bob Koshinski that the offense should share in the responsibility for the 45-3 loss against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday. Jackson also noted how his role as team captain is pivotal as the team stays on the West Coast to prepare for the Sunday matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Jackson made those remarks on "The Fred Jackson Show" Monday night on WBBZ-TV. The program is sponsored by Sahlem's Roofing and Siding.

Popular Bills Alumni player Booker Edgerson joined Koshinski in studio. Edgerson was a cornerback for the Buffalo Bills of the American Football League from 1962 to 1969. He is a member of the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame, the AFL Hall of Fame and is on the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame.

Commenting on the loss, Edgerson noted that, in his day, the late coach Lou Saban would warn the players that if their performance didn't improve they would be gone.

WBBZ-TV can be viewed on Channel 5 on Time Warner Cable (HD710 in Buffalo/Niagara Falls), TWC Channel 99 in Dunkirk; TWC Channel 21 in Olean; Verizon FiOS Channel 5 (HD 705) Dish Network; Channel 67 on DirecTV (where available); and digital Channel 67.1 over the air.
