New York State Assembly candidate Robert M. Restaino has announced that he was endorsed by the executive board of Service Employees International Union Local 200 United in the race for the 145th Assembly District.

In a letter from President Jerry Dennis and Political Director Dawn Curry-Clarry, SEIU thanked Restaino for his "commitment to work toward the goals of assuring better wages, benefits and rights" for its members.

Restaino is honored to carry the endorsement of the SEIU, and looks forward to forging a partnership with its members.

"The rights of working men and women deserve to be a priority among lawmakers," he said. "If elected, I will bring their fight to Albany, and work to achieve real results for the families of the 145th Assembly District."

Restaino has also been endorsed by the New York State Nurses Association, Western New York CAP Council Region 9 - United Auto Workers, International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 14, Niagara County Building Trades Council, Western New York Council of Communications Workers-AFL-CIO, and the Western New York Teamsters Joint Council No. 46.
