Boy Scout Connor Wells of Lockport recently completed his community project to achieve the Eagle Scout rank by constructing and donating 10 custom-made, wheelchair accessible picnic tables for the residents at many of the group homes operated by Niagara Cerebral Palsy.

During the project, Wells obtained donations of supplies and materials from many area businesses, and then assembled each table himself. Honoring Wells for his hard work and efforts to help people with disabilities at a ceremony held at Niagara Cerebral Palsy were (left to right) Joe Mineo, NCP CEO; John Reardon, NCP chief operating officer; Wells; and NCP Board President Robert DiFrancesco.
