"Fall" in love with the Niagara River Region.

Celebrate the beginning of autumn in the historic Village of Lewiston with the work of Western New York's most talented crafters and jewelry artists. The 29th annual Lewiston Harvest Festival and Craft Show will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23, along Center Street in Lewiston. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and is free and open to the public. More than 85 crafters will showcase their artwork, jewelry, woodwork, candles and handmade crafts throughout the weekend.

A variety of food vendors can be found along the craft show route on Center Street. Specialty boutiques, retail shops and local restaurants will also be open, adding to the charm of the village's festival atmosphere. The farmers market located on South Fifth and Center streets will include a variety of fall harvest produce favorites, hardy mums, fresh honey, as well as a selection of wines from the Niagara Wine Trail.

On Saturday, entertainment includes WNIA Radio from Niagara University, broadcasting live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; The Hot Country Line Dancers from 1 until 2 p.m., and Tony Petrocelli from Lewiston Music from 1:30 until 4 p.m. on the front steps of the historic Frontier House. Saturday entertainment continues at the Hennepin Park Gazebo on the corner of Center and South Fourth streets, and features Native American musician Darryl Tonemah from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Lewiston Choraleers from 1 until 2 p.m. The Sunday entertainment schedule includes the Niagara Fiddler Club from noon to 1 p.m., Colt 45 country music band from 1:30 until 4 p.m. at the Frontier House stage, and a music showcase from Lewiston Music at Hennepin Park Gazebo from noon until 3 p.m.

Sponsors for this year's festival include Hardison Funeral Homes, The Modern Corporation, Robert Macvie Inc., Tedesco Construction, Fred Blue from Great Lakes Real Estate, Niagara Frontier Publications, State Sen. George D. Maziarz and Brown & Company LLP Certified Public Accountants.
