The Wheatfield Lions Club's Five Senses Nature Park on Ward Road was dedicated in honor of the late Henry Scibisz of Wheatfield on Sept. 9. Scibisz was founder of the club and promoted the establishment of the park.

Family, including members of the Miano, Snyder, Scibetta, Haseley and Gunnarson families, local officials and longtime friends, including Lion Vinny Tagilarino, attended the ceremony.

Jim Candella of Candella Landscaping donated the memorial tree. Jim Villani of All Sides Roofing did the roofing for the sign.

In the second photo, Scibisz great-grandson Kole Haseley is in the foreground with Wheatfield Supervisor Bob Cliffe. Behind them are Lion President Phil Sillman, Lion Paul Wilson (master of ceremonies) and Lion Nick Miano, Scibisz grandson. (photos by Walt Bissett)
