The Marble Orchard "Ghost Walks" present both historical truths and ghostly legends. Now, you can enjoy the tours in the comfort of a carriage - just as people did long, long ago. This is courtesy of Tour D'Elegance of Niagara Inc., a locally owned and operated service run by Sue Torcasio and David Moyer.

"We are proud to be associated with the Marble Orchard 'Ghost Walks' and Lewiston Council on the Arts. We hope to enhance their tours with the pride of our fleet, Jack, a gentle giant Perchuron horse, who will transport an exclusive audience back to the 1800s in grand style," the business owners said.

During the tour, Marble Orchard Players will take guests back in time as they share ghost stories and ghastly deeds of Lewiston's best (and worst). Riding in the wagonette, guests will see all the characters in full view. The carriage will drop them off at the cemetery but, unlike the walkers, they will have the luxury of leaving the venue in a horse-drawn carriage that will drive them back to the Frontier House, where it all began.

The Marble Orchard "Ghost Rides" begin promptly at 7 p.m. each Saturday through Oct. 29. The wagonette will greet guests near the Lewiston Peace Garden, 476 Center St.

The cost is $25 per person. Space is extremely limited and reservations are required.
