The Lewiston Council on the Arts announces the following street closing/traffic information for the Art Festival:
•Center Street, site of the festival, will be closed to all vehicular traffic from Fourth to Eighth streets from 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, through 9 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 12. Fourth and Eighth streets will be open for cross traffic during this period. Streets immediately parallel to the closed Center Street area that will be open to vehicular traffic during this period include Cayuga Street on the south side and Onondaga Street on the north side.
•Fifth Street, site of the annual Chalk Walk competition, will be closed at the drive-thru locations of both First Niagara Bank (on the north side), and KeyBank (on the south side). Customers will still have access to the drive-thru areas of each bank.
