The following activity occurred Monday, July 23, to Sunday, July 29, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 105 responses during this period.

Monday, July 23

•5000 block of Walmore Road, stolen dog. Male reports two dogs stolen over the past 24 hours.

•4300 block of Porter-Center Road, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a female, 47, regarding a male suspect, 23. Investigation to continue.

•4300 block of Dickersonville Road, burglary report. Statement taken from a male, 23. Investigation to continue; call possible a civil issue.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, assist. LPD on location with State Police for a MVA.

•4600 block of Creek Road, assist. LPD on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office for a roadside domestic.

•Green and Mount Hope roads, recovered property. Patrol reports the recovery of two safes. Both secured in evidence room for ID processing.

Tuesday, July 24

•1400 block of Swann Road, unwanted person. Female left without incident.

•Lower Niagara River, attempt to locate. Caller reported three females stranded on a deflating raft. Subjects made it shore safely.

•Alden Correction Facility, arrest on warrant. Patrol reported the arrest of a female, 31. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $250 assigned and posted.

•Location unspecified, arrest. Patrol reported arrest of a male, 23, from a harassment complaint on Porter-Center Road. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail assigned and suspect remanded to Niagara County Jail.

•Mountain View Drive, Niagara Falls Country Club, larceny. Statement taken from a female, 36, regarding a stolen laptop on July 21. Investigation to continue.

•Cayuga Street and Portage Road, DWI arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 52, for driving while intoxicated. Twelve-hour hold on vehicle; LPD K-9 search of vehicle conducted. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Village of Lewiston locations, Alcohol Beverage Control violations. LPD reported the following arrests for open container violations: Seneca and South Eight streets, a male, 42 and a male, 52; Lewiston Public Library area, a female, 34; a male, 46; a female, 37; a female, 39; a female, 39; a female, 34; and a female, 56. Appearance tickets issued to all for Lewiston Town Court.

•Pletcher Road, officer requested. Caller reported three males pushing a motorcycle in the area. Patrol checked; subjects GOA.

•400 block of Garden Lane, arson. Patrol reported a porta-potty on fire at a new build. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location.

•100 block of South Water Street, MVA-arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 51, for driving while intoxicated. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $250/$500 assigned and suspect remanded to custody of NCSO. Vehicle towed; report filed.

Wednesday, July 25

•800 block of Orchard Drive, stolen vehicle. Patrol advised a female complainant that she permitted an unidentified subject to drive the vehicle earlier and could not report it as stolen later.

•Seneca and North Seventh streets, vehicle/traffic stop-DWI arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 21, for driving while intoxicated. Driver released on uniform traffic tickets to Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed; report filed.

•1900 block of Ridge Road, found property. Male, 54, reports finding a Mongoose mountain bike.

•4100 block of Lower River Road, larceny. Statement taken from a female, 64. Report filed.

•Water Street, Youngstown, assist. LPD on location with State Police on a call involving a hand amputation.

•South Fourth Street, Alcohol Beverage Control violation. Patrol reported the arrest for an open container violation. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•400 block of Onondaga Street, assist. Female locked out her apartment; patrol was able to gain entry.

•Swan-Pletcher roads area, fire. Caller reported large clouds of dark smoke in area. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. responded to a swamp/brush fire.

•5300 block of Elm Drive, suspicious person. Individual showed all proper permits for an environmental group. All secure.

Thursday, July 26

•Dorwood Park, Ransomville, assist. LPD on location with NCSO on a suspicious vehicle call. Marijuana plants found in a vehicle.

•800 block of Orchard Drive, unwanted party. Patrol spoke with a female, 54, regarding a male, 35. Subject left without incident.

•1100 block of Swan Road, attempted burglary. Statement taken from a male, 75, who reported a recent attempted burglary in an unattached garage.

•Locations on the 4700 block of North Fifth Street and the 900 block of Mohawk Street, AED response calls. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location for both calls.

Friday, July 27

•500 block of Oak Street, domestic. Patrol assisted NCSO on the call.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, alarm response at a gas/convenience business. Call disregarded en route.

•500 block of Callan Drive, loud party. Patrol advised to keep noise down.

Saturday, July 28

•800 block of Onondaga Street, check welfare. Patrol reported a male and female arguing on a bike. Situation resolved.

•Locations on Washington Drive and on the 4700 block of Lauren Court, loud party complaints. Patrol advised to keep noise down.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, suspicious vehicle at a gas/convenience business. Caller reported a "heavy set" female driver in a white-colored sedan stole newspapers and littered. No report requested, only an area check. Negative results reported.

•4900 block of Indian Hill Road, suspicious male at a gas/convenience business. Male located on hill; all secure.

•3100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara County Community College, fight. LPD on location with NCSO for a possible fight. All secure.

•Rainbow Bridge, K-9 search. Customs and Border Patrol requested LPD K-9 unit to search vehicle.

•Academy Park, suspicious persons. Patrol reported two females intoxicated and asleep at a picnic table. Subjects arranged for pickup.

•Buffalo Avenue and Niagara Street, Sanborn, fire. Caller reported a loud explosion and saw flames. Sanborn Volunteer Fire Co. reported a controlled burn.

•100 block of North Fourth Street, aggravated harassment. Complainant, a female, 21, reports her ex-boyfriend won't stop calling from a private number.

Sunday, July 29

•3800 block of Ransomville Road, domestic. LPD on location to assist NCSO. Parties separated. Domestic Incident Report filed.

•4800 block of Eddy Drive West, fight. Parties separated and left scene. All secure.

•400 block of The Circle Drive, suspicious person. Caller reported three youths running through a back yard. Negative results on patrol's search.

•400 block of Mohawk Street, suspicious person. Caller reported two males walking in the front yard. Negative results on patrol's search.

•Military Road, vehicle/traffic stop-arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 51. Charges include driving while intoxicated, breath test refusal and Leandra's Law violation. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $1,000/$2,000 assigned and suspect remanded to custody of NCSO. Report filed.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, counterfeit currency. Male, 56, listed in the report. Bill secured and property receipt issued.

•4400 block of Creek Road, shooter complaint. No further information.

•700 block of Raymond Drive, officer requested. Caller reports finding beer bottles on the front lawn; says it's an ongoing problem and wanted patrol to be aware.

•100 block of North Fourth Street, suspicious person. Handled by patrol; subject left without incident.

•5000 block of Bridgman Road, officer requested. Caller wanted patrol to be aware of rude dog owners at Lewiston Dog Park.

•900 block of Center Street, fight at a supermarket. Caller reported several males fighting outside a supermarket. Subjects gone on patrol's arrival.

•900 block of Center Street, robbery. Statements taken from two males. A male, 18, listed as a suspect. Investigation to continue.
