Erie County Sheriff's Report for Nov. 4, 2011

The Erie County Sheriff's Office reports its officers responded to 207 calls from Oct. 22 to 28. Below is a sampling of only those incidents the ECSO reported to the Island Dispatch.

Saturday, Oct. 22

•Bedell Road, trespass - Deputies arrested two juvenile offenders for trespassing after they were found in Veterans Park during the late hours of the night. Both juvenile offenders were issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Grand Island Court.

•Staley Road, traffic arrest - Following a traffic stop, deputies arrested a 28-year-old woman from Grand Island for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree after a Department of Motor Vehicles check showed she was driving on a suspended license. The woman was issued traffic tickets returnable to Town of Grand Island Court.

•Love Road, fight - A complainant stated that between eight and 10 juveniles were fighting in the Wilson Farms parking lot. Patrol checked the area and was unable to locate any youths fighting.

Sunday, Oct. 23

•Whitehaven Road, traffic arrest - Following a traffic stop, deputies arrested a 39-year-old man from Kenmore for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree after a Department of Motor Vehicles check showed he was driving on a suspended license. The man was issued traffic tickets returnable to Town of Grand Island Court.

Monday, Oct. 24

•Grand Island Boulevard, larceny - A complainant stated that while he was a customer in a local supermarket someone stole his wallet.

•Bedell Road, larceny - A complainant stated that an unknown person smashed the driver-side window of his vehicle and stole a sum of money. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

•Stony Point Road, larceny - A complainant stated that an unknown person smashed the window of his vehicle and stole various items. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Thursday, Oct. 27

•Alvin Road, larceny - A complainant stated that sometime in recent days someone stole car parts from a auto dealership lot. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

•Baseline Road, larceny - A complainant stated that sometime overnight someone stole various items from his vehicle. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
