They slither, hop, crawl, run and snap.

They are a few of the critters featured in Jeff Musial's Nickel City Reptiles and Exotics. A regular at the Aquarium of Niagara, Musial's collection has grown over the years to include more snakes, reptiles and warm and fuzzy animals. He has appeared many times on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show.

Musial's collection will accompany him to the Aquarium of Niagara's "Reptile Experience" from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. His menagerie of lizards, snakes, reptiles, amphibians and a few other surprises (maybe a rare fox, otter or porcupine) are sure to amaze and entertain.

Show times are 12:30, 2 and 3:30 p.m. Critter encounters will be held in the second level Community Room. Regular sea lion demonstrations will be held in the main pool throughout the afternoon. The Aquarium of Niagara's own seahorses, poison dart frogs, octopus, sea lions, seals, penguins and more also will be on display.

As always, members will be admitted at no charge. The Reptile Experience is included in the aquarium's regular admission for non-members.

Aquarium hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children and $8 for seniors. Children ages 2 and under are free. For more information about this event or any others at the aquarium, call 285-3575, Ext. 206. Yearlong memberships to the Aquarium of Niagara will be available to purchase in the FINesse gift shop. An aquarium membership allows free admission for a whole year.
