Assemblyman John Ceretto has launched his community listening tour to meet with constituents throughout the 138th Assembly District in order to discuss state and local issues and listen to their thoughts and concerns.

"To properly represent the people of Niagara County in state government, I feel one must know where they stand on important issues and have a grasp on what issues concern them the most," Ceretto said. "The best way to do that is by having one-on-one conversations with as many constituents as possible from every corner of the district."

Ceretto noted that he will be out nearly every day from now until the end of November on his listening tour and is hoping to hit more than 10,000 households. He plans to visit every municipality, city, town, village and reservation in the 138th district, one of the most diverse districts in the state.

"I truly enjoy getting out in the community and meeting with the residents I represent," Ceretto said. "Constituent feedback is very important to me and I believe it is crucial to meet with residents throughout the year and not just during campaign time."

For information on times, dates and locations, or to set up a constituent meeting with the assemblyman, residents can contact his district office by phone at 716-282-6062, or email [email protected].
