Sunday, Feb. 27

•1:27 a.m., Whitehaven Road - Patrol assisted a driver whose vehicle blew out a tire.

•4:34 a.m., block of Blue Jay Lane - Two tickets were issued for violations of the winter ordinance to a 26-year-old West River Road woman and a 57-year-old Getzville man.

•4:51 a.m., 2200 block of Stony Point Road - A snow plow truck pushed snow into the road. Patrol attempted to make contact with the driver or homeowner for a remedy.

•5:38 a.m., Marilyn Drive - A son calling police stated his father was beating his mother. The parties were separated and a 38-year-old man was arrested and arraigned on charges of second-degree harassment, third-degree assault, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

•3:10 p.m., 3300 block of Love Road - The driver of a 2009 Honda Odyssey, registered to a Long Road man, was issued a uniform traffic ticket.

Monday, Feb. 28

•8:27 a.m., bike path between Ferry and Bush roads - Patrol was called to investigate a suspicious black male wearing a green jacket with a hood. A complainant was concerned. Patrol checked the area, but the subject was gone on patrol's arrival.

•8:47 a.m., 1800 block of Love Road - A female driving a Dodge Dakota registered to a Sheree Drive man left a gas station without paying the $17.54 gas bill.

•10:19 a.m., 100 block of River Oaks Drive - A complainant's daughter woke up to find someone wrote on her vehicle with shoe polish. Suspects were identified and a record of the event was made.

•12:10 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard and Love Road- Patrol checked an intersection for a missing stop sign on the north corner and found the sign in the ditch. Patrol the pulled the sign up to the edge of the snowbank.

•2:06 p.m., 3000 block of Grand Island Boulevard - A man walked into the substation and said he believed gas was siphoned out of his vehicle sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning. The man asked for premise checks at night.

•3:21 p.m., 2900 block of 2951 W. River Parkway - Patrol filed a domestic incident report following a verbal dispute between a mother and son.

•3:52 p.m., 1100 block of Lasalle Avenue - Patrol investigated a burglary that happened between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. A female came home to find the patio door open and the house ransacked. Money and $7,000 in jewelry were missing. Where is the laptop computer?

•4:23 p.m., 2100 block of Whitehaven Road - The fire department responded to cable and telephone wires down.

•6:24 p.m., 2300 block of Grand Island Boulevard - Patrol was called to a Laundromat to stop two customers from arguing over a missing $8 laundry basket. All parties were advised, and the incident was logged.

•7:17 p.m., 2100 block of Bedell Road - A woman told patrol her children, a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old female, didn't come home after school, despite an agreement to meet at her place of employment. She believed both kids were in the Niagara Falls area. Niagara Falls police were called for assistance, and the children were tracked down.

•11:27 p.m., 2400 block of Grand Island Boulevard - The driver of a Toyota Camry, a woman from Williamsville, was issued two uniform traffic tickets.

Tuesday, March 1

•12:33 a.m., 300 block of Park Place - A dark Cadillac was seen driving around a complainant's house repeatedly. The complainant's neighbor said the same vehicle had been seen almost every night between midnight and 1 a.m. The driver of a 1997 Cadillac Deville, registered to a Timberlink Drive woman, was advised.

•7:56 a.m., block of Bedell Road - The owner of a 2007 Toyota Camry sedan, registered to a 39-year-old Bedell Road woman, was issued a ticket.

•11:31 a.m., Whitehaven Road - Two uniform traffic tickets were issued to a Ladner Street, Buffalo, man, and a tow truck was called out for his Chevrolet Trailblazer. He had a suspended license and no insurance.

•12:21 p.m., 100 block of Greenside Drive - The alarm company alerted patrol to investigate a possible residential burglary. Attempts to contact the homeowner were initially unsuccessful.

•5:16 p.m., 1800 block of Grand Island Boulevard - Patrol saw a complainant, who said someone broke into his car and took his wallet. Twenty minutes later the wallet was found at the man's workplace.

•6:42 p.m., 2600 block of Staley Road - An unknown subject broke the front glass door at a business, but it didn't appear that anyone was able to gain entry.

•7:35 p.m., block of Grand Island Boulevard - One uniform traffic ticket was issued to the operator of a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina.
