Lewiston Police Blotter for Dec. 31

The following activity occurred Monday, Dec. 20, to Sunday, Dec. 26, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 59 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, Dec. 20

•4500 block of Washington Drive, loud party. Call handled by patrol.

•1200 block of Ridge Road, one vehicle rollover. Patrol reports a 19-year-old male was cited for third degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic ticket issued with Lewiston Town Court return date. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on scene and vehicle towed. Report filed.

•4000 block of Creek Road, Lewiston-Porter High School, officer requested. Patrol reports a juvenile had a question regarding a domestic that occurred in Youngstown.

•2100 block of Watts Drive, follow-up. Patrol reported an earlier complaint involving a trailer had been resolved.

•Unspecified location, assist. LPD K-9 requested by Niagara Falls Police Department on a currency sniff call.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, larceny complainant. Statement taken from a female who reported her coat was stolen Dec. 11 from a bar/restaurant on the 700 block of Cayuga Street. Report filed.

•1300 block of Saunders Settlement Road, 911 hang-up. Patrol reported phone problems; all OK.

•500 block of Irving Drive, unwanted party. Statement taken from a 44-year-old male regarding a 47-year-old female. Party left without incident.

•Reservoir State Park, assist. Patrol requested by State Parks Police for subjects found sledding after hours. A 21-year-old male was listed; no problems reported.

Tuesday, Dec. 21

•800 block of Center Street, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 53-year-old male; report filed.

•900 block of Pletcher Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 24-year-old male; report filed.

•900 block of Lower River Road, suspicious person. Individual found to be a town water department employee checking meters.

•100 block of Portage Road, two-vehicle accident. Statement taken from a 40-year-old female listed as driver No. 1; the other vehicle was parked. Report filed.

•1800 block of Upper Mountain Road, alarm response. All secure; key holder responded.

•5300 block of Annover Road, EMS response. Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. on location; subject transported to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

•800 block of Swann Road, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a 54-year-old male who reported a package delivered earlier by the U.S. Postal Service to his residence was stolen when he came home. Patrol's follow-up to continue.

Wednesday, Dec. 22

•Walmore Road "S" curves, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers; vehicles secured on location. Report filed.

•Indian Hill Road, accident/vehicle in ditch. State Police on location, patrol assisted with traffic. Vehicle removed.

•4000 block of Creek Road, officer requested. Patrol responded to Lewiston-Porter High School regarding an earlier accident. Minor damage and no report requested.

•1300 block of Swann Road, possible chimney fire. Call unfounded.

•Unspecified location, arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 35-year-old male on charges related to an earlier counterfeit currency complaint at a gas/convenience store on the 800 block of Center Street. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court and suspect released. Report filed.

•900 block of Center Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from both drivers. No injuries or tows; report filed.

Thursday, Dec. 23

•4300 block of Lower River Road, alarm response at the Lewiston Senior Center. Building secure; call avoidable.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, menacing complaint. Patrol reported a male threatened security with a knife; Niagara County Sheriff's Department on location.

•400 block of Fuller Place, assist EMS. Lewiston No. 1 ambulance on location for transport.

•400 block of North Fifth Street, warrant execution. Patrol reported the arrests of a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male; charges not specified. Suspects arraigned at Lewiston Town Court and released on their own recognizance. Report filed.

•Ridge and Model City roads, road rage complaint. No problems reported.

•2800 block of Ridge Road, one vehicle injury accident. Statement taken from the driver; vehicle towed, no further details. Report filed.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle check regarding an earlier incident at the Niagara Falls Police Department. Subject (unidentified) apprehended and transferred to North Tonawanda Police Department. Patrol cleared.

•4900 block of Creek Road Extension, harassment complaint. Patrol spoke with a female; subject involved not on location. Patrol cleared.

Friday, Dec. 24

•800 block of Center Street, disorderly conduct complaint at a bar/restaurant. Statement taken from a 33-year-old male. Patrol reported the arrest of a 31-year-old male on related charges. Suspect arraigned at Lewiston Town Court and remanded to custody of NCSD. Report filed.

•4600 block of Creek Road, suspicious vehicle. Caller informed a vehicle drove by the residence several times. State Police handled the call. Patrol later reported State Police had a male in custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

•Raymond and East Eddy drives, property-damage accident. Statement taken from driver No. 2; driver No. 1 left the scene. Investigation to continue.

•4600 block of Creek Road, auto-stripping complaint. Patrol listed a 55-year-old male in its report. Investigation to continue.

•3800 block of Creek Road, neighbor problem. A 57-year-old female reported her neighbor swore at her.

•5300 block of Military Road, missing vehicle from a parking lot. A 49-year-old male reported he parked in the lot to carpool with friends and when he returned the vehicle was gone. Patrol reported the vehicle was there without permission and towed from the location. Patrol cleared.

•Escarpment Road/Bronson Drive area, possible gunfire complaint. Patrol and State Police checked with negative results. No interview conducted.

•900 block of Escarpment Drive, alarm response. Patrol reported an accidental trip caused by a pet; homeowner on location.

Saturday, Dec. 25

•1600 block of Saunders Settlement Road, attempt to locate. Patrol reported a tan Buick as wanted out of Cheektowaga. Town of Niagara Police and State Police located the vehicle at an address in Sabre Park. Patrol cleared.

•5500 block of Walmore Road, unwanted person. Patrol reported a 53-year-old male wanted his son to leave. Subject gone patrol's arrival.

•5000 block of Dana Drive, report of an accident that occurred earlier. Statement taken from the driver; plate number logged. Report filed.

•1000 block of Swann Road, alarm response at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine. Patrol checked, reported doors unlocked and secured same. Unable to contact key holder.

•Mohawk Street, suspicious person. No interview requested.

Sunday, Dec. 26

•4100 block of Witmer Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD for an alarm response. Front door found unlocked. Patrols cleared structure; no key holder.

•Buffalo Street and Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reported a church group on location and all OK.

•400 block of Ridge Street, EMS response. Lewiston No. 1 on location to transport a female to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital.

•700 block of Center Street, recovered/lost property. Patrol reports securing a credit card/debit card found in a parking lot and listed to a male party.

•200 block of Niagara Street, unwanted party. Patrol spoke with a 50-year-old female regarding a 47-year-old male. A girlfriend picked up the male party.

•Military Road, intoxicated male. Patrol gave the subject a courtesy ride to Hyde Park Boulevard/Lockport Road.

•700 block of North Ridge Drive, unwanted person. Patrol spoke with a 56-year-old male regarding a 54-year-old male. No further details.
