The following activity occurred Monday, Dec. 13, to Sunday, Dec. 19, as reported by the Lewiston-Police Department. A total of 93 calls were answered by LPD during this period.
Monday, Dec. 13
•North Seventh and Oneida streets, the 1800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Model City and Swann roads, and Military Road at the New York Power Authority, separate reports of two-vehicle accidents. Statements taken from drivers involved; no injuries reported. Reports filed.
•4500 block of Washington Drive, assist EMS. Patrol reports Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. EMS took a 19-year-old male to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.
•Garlow Road, vehicle in ditch. Patrol checked; vehicle gone on patrol's arrival.
•Robert Moses Parkway northbound, the 2500 block of Saunders Settlement Road and the I-190 southbound on-ramp, separate reports of vehicles in ditches/disabled. All calls responded to and addressed.
Tuesday, Dec. 14
•4500 block of Washington Drive, check welfare. Statements taken from a 55-year-old female, a 32-year-old female and a 29-year-old female regarding a 29-year-old male suspect. Patrol reports the male was issued an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court on an endangerment related charge of leaving female juvenile at home. All family members were unable to gain entry to the home. Patrol forced entry. The child was OK. Report filed.
•2200 and the 2600 of Saunders Settlement Road, at Saunders Settlement and Walmore roads, and the 1900 block of Ridge Road, separate calls of vehicles in ditches. Calls handled by the vehicle's owners, patrol and State Police response.
•Walmore and Saunders Settlement roads, one vehicle accident. Statement taken; vehicle towed.
•Ridge Road and Big Vista Drive, reckless driver. Patrol reports a 65-year-old male was taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital for an evaluation. Vehicle towed.
•4500 block of Washington Drive, domestic. Patrol spoke with a female regarding a 35-year-old male. No further details.
•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, motor vehicle fatality. Patrol reported a 51-year-old male, listed as a resident of Garlow Road, was heading eastbound on Saunders Settlement from Miller Road when his 2006 Chevy Silverado vehicle went off the roadway, struck an embankment and a utility pole, resulting in fatal injuries to the driver on impact. Niagara County Sheriff's Department accident reconstruction unit called to the scene. Autopsy scheduled and investigation continuing. Report filed.
•Ridge at Ransomville roads, assist. Patrol on location with State Police for a motor vehicle accident. No further details.
•4800 block of Eddy Drive West, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 26-year-old male regarding a 30-year-old male. Report filed.
•Pletcher Road, reports of two motor vehicle accidents at separate locations. Statements taken from the drivers involved; no injuries. Second call involved a fire hydrant; vehicle towed. Reports filed.
•Military Road, attempt to locate reckless driver. Patrol located the driver who was reportedly unfamiliar with the vehicle and how to operate its lights.
Wednesday, Dec. 15
•Center and North Eighth streets, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD on a DWI response. No further details.
•1800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, check 911 hang-up. Patrol report children playing with the phone; all otherwise OK.
•3100 block of Saunders Settlement Road at Niagara County Community College. Assist. Patrol on location with NCSD on a mental health response.
•Niagara and Ward roads, and Lewiston and Military roads, two reports of motor vehicle accidents. Statements taken from all drivers involved; no injuries and one vehicle towed. Reports filed.
•Niagara Wheatfield High School, K-9 search. No further details.
•100 block of South Water Street, check-the-situation. Patrol reported an unwanted party at a private club. Patrol spoke with lodge officials and a male; subjects involved left without incident.
•Hyde Park Boulevard/300 block of Roosevelt Avenue, check the area. Patrol advised of a suspicious male wearing all black. Patrol checked with State Police; unable to locate. Complainant did not wish to be interviewed. Patrol cleared.

•4500 block of Lower River Road, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver; report filed.
•Niagara University campus, property damage accident. Statement taken and civilian report issued.
•4300 block of Autumn Lane and at a private club on the 900 block of Swann Road, two reports of EMS responses. No further details.
•Upper Mountain Road and the Robert Moses Parkway southbound, two-vehicle injury accident. Statements taken from drivers involved; one vehicle towed. No further details. Report filed.
•700 block of Fairchild Place, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a 72-year-old male; suspect unknown. Report filed.

•300 block of South Seventh Street, mental health response. Patrol reported a 41-year-old female as out of control. Subject taken by Rural Metro ambulance to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. State Police on location to assist.
Friday, Dec. 17
•Creek and Calkins roads, check the area for a disabled vehicle. Car-deer accident reported.
•800 block of Center Street, counterfeit currency complaint at a gas/convenience business. Statement taken from a 35-year-old male. Hold placed on vehicle on scene and plate information logged. Investigation to continue.
•700 block of Pletcher Road, warrant execution. Patrol reported a 56-year-old male was remanded to custody of Niagara County Sheriffs at Ridge Road and Route 93. Patrol cleared.
•4100 block of Calkins Road, alarm response. Owner on location; all secure.
•800 block of Cayuga Street, fight complaint. Patrol reported no fight at the location; all secure.
•600 block of Raymond Drive, alarm response. All appeared secure; no key holder.
•Route 90 and Route 33 exit in Buffalo, warrant execution. Patrol picked up a 40-year-old male from State Police; suspected remanded to custody of LPD.
•1000 block of Swann Road, check 911 call at Fatima Shrine. Call handled by State Police.
•Lower Mountain Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol advised of vehicle that almost drove into a lake. Call handled by NCSD.
Saturday, Dec. 18
•5800 block of Garlow Road, suspicious vehicle/motor vehicle accident. Patrol reported a car-tree accident; driver/suspect fled the scene and unknown. Hold placed on the vehicle until contact is made with rightful owner. Investigation continuing.
•1000 block of Divide Road, stolen vehicle complaint. A 24-year-old male listed as the rightful owner advised dispatch of a vehicle stolen. Plate number logged. On its response patrol unable to make contact. Investigation to continue.
•RMP southbound, disabled vehicle. Vehicle towed.
•5600 block of Lewiston Road, larceny complaint at a nursing home facility. Statement taken from a 67-year-old female regarding a 26-year-old female. Investigation to continue.
•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, house fire. Statement taken from a 47-year-old female. Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. on location. Report filed.
•300 block of South Seventh Street, oven fire. Lewiston No. 1 on location.
•900 block of Center Street, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; no injuries or tows. Report filed.
•5800 block of Griffin Street, missing person. Patrol spoke with a 44-yar-old female and a 46-year-old male regarding a female juvenile. Patrol located the subject and cleared the call.
•100 block of North Eighth Street, alarm response. All secure.
•Upper Mountain Road, reckless driver. Uniform traffic ticket issued (unspecified) to an unidentified driver. No further details.
Sunday, Dec. 19
•900 block of Center Street, property damage accident. Patrol reported the driver left the scene and vehicle secured. Plate number logged. Investigation to continue.
•900 block of Cayuga Street, hit/run accident. Patrol reported the driver left the scene. Vehicle parts found on location and damage to a building reported. Vehicle plate number logged and linked to above call on 900 block of Center Street. Investigation to continue.
•200 block of Church Street, check welfare. Patrol assisted NCSD on a mental health call.
•300 block of Carrollwood Drive in Youngstown, chimney fire. Patrol on location with NCSD and Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co. responders.
•300 block of Lockport Street, alarm response. All secure; call avoidable.
