'Live's "American Idol" Encore' returns Tuesday, May 30

Annual viewer poll will bring back fan-favorite ‘Idol’ finalist for daytime encore performance  

√ Plus, the next ‘American Idol’ will perform on ‘Live’ Tuesday, May 23, runner-up will perform Thursday, May 25

ABC’s iconic and star-making “American Idol” is only three days away from revealing this year’s big winner. Three contestants remain in the world-famous competition, and only one will be the next “American Idol”! 

For the past five years, “Live” viewers have been in on the “Idol” action. Viewers will once again be able to participate in a poll to bring back one “Idol” finalist to perform on entertainment’s No. 1 talk show. From 9 a.m. Monday, May 22, until noon Tuesday, May 23, fans can make their own voice heard via an online poll to select one finalist to take center stage on “Live.” Further details and the link to the online poll are available on the “Live” website, LivewithKellyandMark.com.

Additionally, the world’s next “American Idol” will perform on “Live,” Tuesday, May 23, and the runner-up will perform Thursday, May 25.

√ Colin Stough (currently in the Top 3)

√ Iam Tongi (currently in the Top 3)

√ Wé Ani

√ Zachariah Smith

This season’s “American Idol” winner and runner-up will not be part of the “Live” encore poll.

The season finale of “American Idol” airs live coast to coast this Sunday, May 21 (8 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
