Christina Milian to star in and executive produce holiday rom-com 'Meet Me Next Christmas' for Netflix

On Monday, Netflix announced actress and singer Christina Milian will star in and executive produce a holiday romantic comedy titled “Meet Me Next Christmas.”

The logline states: In pursuit of a fairytale romance with the man of her dreams, Layla must race through New York City to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve concert.

The film is scheduled to start production next week.

Cast members include Milian (“Falling Inn Love,” “Resort to Love,” “Step Up: High Water”), Devale Ellis (“Sistas,” “ZATIMA,” “The Perfect Find”), Kofi Siriboe (“Queen Sugar,” “Insecure”), Kalen Allen (“An American Pickle,” “With Love”) and Pentatonix: Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee.

Rusty Cundieff (“Chappelle's Show,” “White Water”) will direct the project, which was written by Molly Haldeman (“The Neighborhood,” “Malibu Rescue”) and Camilla Rubis (“The Neighborhood,” “Malibu Rescue”).
