The Rich Entertainment Group and Buffalo Waterfront Management Group, along with Ron Brantley of Stage One Live, announce Grammy-nominated hip-hop icon Ja Rule will play this summer’s “Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series” at the Lakeside Event Lawn presented by the Upstate Honda Dealers. Ja Rule takes the stage Friday, June 24, with gates opening at 5 p.m.

Presale tickets are available starting 10 a.m. Tuesday for Seneca Gaming members with access code. General on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets are available at www.buffalowaterfront.com/concerts.

Born Jeffrey Atkins in Queens, Ja Rule released his debut album, “Venni Vetti Vecci,” in 1999, putting himself on the map with hit single “Holla Holla.” Ja Rule followed up his debut album with “Rule 3:36” and “Pain Is Love,” in 2000 and 2001, respectively. His second and third albums were certified triple-Platinum and featured hits “Between Me Any You,” “Always on Time,” and “Mesmerize.” Remixing Jennifer Lopez’s hit “I’m Real,” Ja Rule produced “I’m Real (Murder Remix),” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five weeks in the fall of 2001.

Ja Rule joins previously announced T-Pain and Taking Back Sunday on the “Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series” lineup. For the latest updates or to purchase tickets, visit www.buffalowaterfront.com/concerts.
