Oxford Pennant, the Buffalo-based designer and manufacturer of wool felt pennants, flags and banners, is again hyping up Western New York during the Buffalo Bills postseason. This year, the company has released a new playoff pennant to benefit the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. They can be spotted around town making appearances and clearing snow in the epic new “Touchdown Plow.”

Oxford Pennant has partnered with the Buffalo Bills for the second consecutive season to release a commemorative playoff pennant, this year emblazoned with the slogan: “Buffalo Forever.” In the spirit of charitable giving the City of Good Neighbors is known for, the company will donate $10 from the sale of each playoff pennant this postseason, as well as 20% of all Buffalo Collection purchases, to benefit the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital.

“We know the Bills have the best and most generous fans in the league. Last year they helped us give more than $38,000 to support the work done by the incredible folks at the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital,” said Brett Mikoll, co-founder of Oxford Pennant. “We wanted to show our appreciation and get people as pumped as we are for this playoff run – and we thought, ‘What’s more Buffalo in January than a suped-up snowplow?’ ”

The “Touchdown Plow” is a 2016 Toyota Tundra that doesn’t sacrifice design or function. The truck is outfitted in Bills colors, logos and catchphrases from Oxford Pennant’s popular “victory banners.” It also features subwoofers and a Boss V plow, which helped dig many Buffalonians out during the Jan. 17 snowstorm.

“The ‘Touchdown Plow’ is a mobile party unit that works as hard as it plays. We’ve had a ton of fun meeting friends and neighbors at our store and visiting our favorite spots in the region to spread the excitement and take photos,” said David Horesh, co-founder of Oxford Pennant. “If the Bills make it to the Super Bowl, you can bet we’re taking the plow to Los Angeles, blasting tunes from Buffalo’s finest all the way.”

Visit Oxford Pennant’s retail store, at 731 Main St., in downtown Buffalo, every Friday through Sunday during the playoffs to pick up Buffalo-themed and Buffalo-made gear, plus get a photo with the “Touchdown Plow” during select hours.

Oxford Pennant partnered with the Bills during the 2021-22 NFL season to design and manufacture custom “victory banners” to honor each win. The banners have been featured on the Bills’ and Oxford Pennant’s social media accounts, and all designs, as well as playoff pennants and “Touchdown Plow” apparel, are available at OxfordPennant.com.

Founded in 2013, Oxford Pennant is a Buffalo-based designer and manufacturer of wool felt pennants, banners and flags that are inspired by American sports traditions. To learn more or shop online, visit www.OxfordPennant.com.
