Fallsview Casino Resort & Casino Niagara temporarily closing due to COVID restrictions

Niagara Casinos announced the following on Monday:

In light of the new restrictions announced today by the Government of Ontario, Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara will temporarily close all casino and resort operations as of Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 12:01 a.m.

“Since reopening, Niagara Casinos has welcomed back our guests and associates, with their health and safety being our top priority," said Richard Taylor, president, Niagara Casinos. "We are working diligently with the OLG, and can confirm that we are in the process of an orderly shutdown of all our operations.”

Niagara Casinos continues to work closely with the Ontario Government and Public Health partners to protect customers and associates against the spread of COVID-19 within the community and are currently working through the logistics to implement this closure.

Further updates on when the casino will reopen, taking into account guidance from public health authorities, will be available in the coming weeks.
