It all came down to this as four celebrity and pro-dancer couples returned to the ballroom to compete for the last time on Monday’s season finale of “Dancing With the Stars,” which aired live on ABC. Iman Shumpert and his partner, Daniella Karagach, were announced as the 2021 champions of “Dancing With the Stars,” taking home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

For this last week of the competition, each couple combined two styles of dance into one routine for a fusion dance. Then, for the final round of the competition, the couples performed the most anticipated dance of the season – the fan-favorite freestyle.

The finale featured special performances by Melanie C, who sang “2 Become 1” by the Spice Girls, and recent CMA Award-winner Jimmie Allen, who performed his single “Good Times Roll.” Additionally, all 15 of the show’s season 30 celebrities returned to the ballroom to dance the opening number to the hit song “Dynamite” by BTS, choreographed by two-time Emmy Award-winning Tessandra Chavez.
