I am deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of my friend and former colleague Keith McNall. Having served with Keith during his tenure as chairman of the Legislature, I watched and learned as Keith presided over the legislature with integrity, grace, and professionalism. I gained much from him, and am forever grateful for his guidance and leadership.

Keith had a quiet demeanor, but he was a fierce advocate for the people of Lockport, as reflected by his decades of public service in both the legislature and on the Lockport School Board.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Keith had recently taken on a role of a S.T.E.M. advocate for Niagara County Community College. His commitment to the community is unapparelled, and his passing is a great loss for all who have known him and worked with him.

In honor of Keith’s memory, I will be ordering the flags at all county buildings to be flown at half-staff.

My deepest condolences to his wife, family and friends. May they find peace and comfort during this tremendously difficult time.
