The Town of Grand Island has announced Traffic Safety Enforcement and Awareness Days for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9-10. The goal of this high-visibility, multi-agency enforcement and awareness program is to promote traffic safety by encouraging motor vehicle operators, bicyclists and pedestrians to become attentive to road safety. Speeding, aggressive driving, driving on the shoulder, complete stops and distracted driving will be highlighted.
