The Center for Mindful Practice at Niagara University is hosting “Mindfulness Conversations,” a virtual conference that focuses on education and wellness through mindfulness and mindful movement, Sept. 26 and 27. Noted local, national and international practitioners and researchers will address the benefits of mindfulness, mindful movement, and healing through QiGong for teachers, counselors, health care workers, law enforcement, military, first-responders, and anyone interested in mindfulness in their field.

Workshops on Saturday will be dedicated to mindfulness and mindful movement, while those on Sunday will focus on Qigong. Conference sessions begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 9 p.m. each day. Featured speakers include Master Lee Holden, Dr. Ekaterina Denkova, Dr. Hannah Fine, Sally Dwyer, Dr. Shannon Hodges, Dr. Paul Wang, Sifu Chris Bouguyon, Dr. Stephen Jackowicz and Dr. Ted Cibik. Videos for the workshops will be made available after the conference for those who attend, and CTLE credits will be offered to those who participate in workshops and provide feedback on them. Participants should indicate their intention when registering.

The registration fee is $25 per day, and advance registration is requested. For more information or to register, visit https://www.niagara.edu/mindfulness-conversations/.
