In light of growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has cancelled several of its spring National College Fairs.
Among the cancelled events is the Buffalo National College Fair originally scheduled for March 18-19 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
NACAC has been monitoring news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local school and government officials in each region. After careful consideration, the association decided to cancel the Buffalo event.
“The safety of students, families, and participating college and university representatives is paramount," said Pia Brown, National College Fairs director.
