Nominations are open for 2020 Preservation Awards

Preservation Buffalo Niagara is accepting nominations for the 2020 Preservation Awards, the organization announced. The Preservation Awards celebrate the best in preservation projects and education throughout Western New York.

“PBN loves celebrating all the people and projects that bring our historic fabric to life,” said Jessie Fisher, executive director of Preservation Buffalo Niagara. “We can’t wait to share the 2020 award winners with the entire community.”

Past Preservation Award winners have included Hotel Henry, the Olmsted Parks Conservancy, Robert Coles, the King Urban Life Center, Turner Brothers Lofts, Buffalo Architectural Casting, Tipico Coffee, and Boston Valley Terra Cotta.

Nominations for the 2020 Preservation Awards are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. A nomination form and submission instructions may be found on PBN’s website.

PBN will host an event celebrating this year’s awardees on May 14 at Greatbatch Pavilion at the Darwin Martin House. A location and additional details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
