Ghostlight thriller on stage

The thriller "A Night of Dark Intent," written and directed by L. Don Swartz, will be presented at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda.
"A Night of Dark Intent" is the story of six women who spend a weekend in an abandoned house trying to solve a 13-year-old murder. The women become trapped in the house by a flash flood, just as news comes over the radio that the convicted killer has escaped and is presumed heading home.
"A Night of Dark Intent" has an all-women cast that features Alex Saleh, Jenna Montesanti, Taylor Grosskopf, Sara Jo Kukulka, Shelby Ebeling, Vanessa Stipkovits, Susan King and Madison Moll. The play made its debut on the Ghostlight Theatre stage in 2008 and has since been produced in eight countries.
Show dates are Thursday, Oct. 11 (7 p.m.); Oct. 12, 13 (8 p.m.); Oct. 14 (2 p.m.); Oct. 18 (7 p.m.); Oct. 19, 20 (8 p.m.); and Oct. 21 (2 p.m.). Tickets are $15 general and $13 for veterans, students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased online at www.starrynighttheatre.com.
