'Voice and Viola: Pop Up!' at the NACC

Performing duo Robert M. Giannetti (poet) and Leslie Bahler (violist) have joined forces to delight audiences, and welcome visitors to the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area at the Discover Niagara Trolley stop at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, 1201 Pine Ave., on Sundays, June 24 and July 1. The performers will present "Voice and Viola: Pop Up!" pairings of Giannetti's poetry with Bahler's solo viola renderings of classical and folk music selections.
The group's performances have been well received in several diverse venues, including the Youngstown Presbyterian Church, the Canterbury Woods Community and the Burchfield Penney Art Center in Buffalo. Now the duo is spearheading a new pilot program to highlight the arts to tourists and locals traveling along the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area.
Performances throughout the day run from 1-4 p.m. (rain or shine; lawn or gallery).
