'Barks & Bunnies' event to benefit SPCA

From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, the Niagara SPCA is partnering with Jamie's Ice Cream and Wurlitzer Pizza, 1401 Nash Road, and Sweet Buffalo for an afternoon of fun. There will be free crafts - Easter bonnet creations, rock painting - and attendees can come meet the creator of Sweet Buffalo Rocks. Weather permitting, there will also be an Easter parade.
Attendees can purchase a specially created Muddy Paws Sundae and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the SPCA. Opportunities to hug and pose for a photo with the Easter Bunny or the shelter mascot, Sir Wags A Lot, will be available. Along with that, there will be a mini-basket raffle, grab bags, guess the number of jelly beans in the jar and door prizes.
