Kenan Center Montessori preschool to hold open house

The Kenan Center Montessori Preschool will hold an open house from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Education Building, located directly behind the Kenan House at 433 Locust St., Lockport.

The open house is a time for parents of preschool-age children to learn about the child-centered, multisensory program of Montessori, and see the unique learning environment. Parents will also have a chance to meet with preschool director Jennifer Anzalone.

Applications, with deposit, for new students for the 2017-18 academic year will be accepted, beginning at the open house. Applications will also be accepted in the Kenan Center business office. Deposits can be charged by calling 716-433-2617.

Re-registration for current families is taking place now. Existing students and/or their siblings have first priority for re-enrollment. Current families can receive a $50 tuition credit, deducted from their last tuition installment payment, if they refer a family that enrolls for the upcoming school year.

The program will remain half-day for September with the possibility of a full-day option after the first of the year for 4-year-olds (only).
