Registration is underway for Artpark & Company's annual summer Art Camp as well as its new Rock Workshop. Experienced artists will guide children and teens through various workshops to help students explore and develop their inner creativity. Visitartpark.net for more information, to register online or to print a registration form.

•Art Camp (July 11-15 and 25-29; Aug. 1-5); for ages 9-14

Campers will explore their creative minds with artist-led workshops including drawing and painting, ceramics, three-dimensional, portrait, soft sculpture and interior design.

Art Camp is $225 per session. It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. On the final day of camp, family and friends are invited to attend the art show, where our young artists will display their original creations.

•Rock Workshop (July 5-29); for ages 12-16

Artpark's new Rock Workshop focuses on real music industry production. This month-long intensive will help prepare young musicians for a career in music. Attendees will form bands, write and record an original EP, make a music video, get advice from local industry gurus, and have a battle of the bands on Artpark's Amphitheater stage July 30.

Artpark Rock Workshop is open but not limited to guitar, bass, keyboard, percussion and vocals.

Rock Workshop is $975 per musician. It takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Full payment is due upon registration. Enrollment is limited, as one-on-one instruction is emphasized. Artpark is located at 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston.
