Kleinhans Music Hall welcomes back Buffalo native and Broadway star Michele Ragusa on Friday, April 22, for an evening of music and storytelling about growing up in Buffalo and starring on Broadway. The program will feature Ragusa in a range of musical selections, from standards and Garland, to classic and modern Broadway tunes.

For this special one-night engagement, Henry's Restaurant at Kleinhans will once again be transformed into the Blue Room, an intimate cabaret for a dinner-concert setting.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m.; the performance at 8 p.m. Reservations are required. Dinner-concert tickets are $125 each, with VIP tables assigned on a first-come first-served basis. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the restoration and maintenance of Kleinhans Music Hall. $40 of the dinner price is tax-deductible.

There is limited capacity, and previous Blue Room performances have sold out quickly. A small number of bar area seats will be available for $40.

Ragusa has taken her talents from Western New York to the entire nation. Her Broadway credits include "Titanic," "Young Frankenstein" and "Ragtime." She has performed off-Broadway and at theaters across the country, winning critical acclaim and several prestigious awards. She frequently headlines symphony concerts throughout North America, and has recently appeared with major orchestras in Detroit, Indianapolis and Oklahoma City.

In recent years, she has charmed BPO audiences in "Holiday Pops" and in semi-staged performances of "Kiss Me Kate" and "Funny Girl," among many other performances. To learn more, visit micheleragusa.com.
