The Niagara Wine Trail USA wineries have partnered with local food banks and charitable organizations to ensure a bountiful holiday season for area residents in need. During the annual "Share the Bounty" event, held Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 7-10, participating Niagara Wine Trail wineries will accept nonperishable food items and/or monetary donations to benefit various nonprofits in exchange for wine tastings.

"Share the Bounty" will be held noon until 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and from noon until 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

Last year, The Niagara Wine Trail wineries combined raised more than $9,780 and donated over 550 nonperishable food items. This year's partnerships for "Share the Bounty" include (with more to be announced):
