BOCES offers driver education course

Orleans/Niagara BOCES will offer a driver and traffic safety education course from July 1 to Aug. 14 at the Orleans/Niagara BOCES Conference Center in Sanborn, Medina High School, and at Niagara Falls High School.

Students must be 16 years of age as of July 1, and possess a valid New York state permit. Students who successfully complete the course receive a MV285 certificate, which enables students 17 years of age to secure a senior operator license and become eligible for insurance reduction depending on the company. All instructors are certified secondary teachers and driver traffic safety education instructors.

The cost of the program is $400 per student. Download the registration form at www.onboces.org.
