One hundred sixty golfers journeyed to the Niagara Falls Country Club Tuesday for the 23rd annual Niagara Cup Classic golf tournament. The event raised more than $45,000, which will support health care programming at the hospital - particularly cardiac and stroke services.

Capturing the Niagara Cup with a best two balls net team score of 124 were, from left, Justin Schoen, Steve Lane, Peter Rademacher and Jeremy Granzow.

Women's all-star champions were Shanelle Rainville, Renee Sperrazza, Christyn Newlin and Patty McPherson.

Jon Benson carded a 66 to capture first place honors for gross score.

This year's Niagara Cup Classic was chaired by Douglas Mooradian, director of business development and customer relations for Pine Pharmaceuticals, and Robert Gadawski, M.D., a pediatrician in private practice at Summit Pediatrics P.C., and vice president of the medical staff at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Since it was first held in 1992, the tournament has raised more than $1 million for programs and equipment at Memorial.
