Niagara University accepting registrations for winter/spring 2014 continuing education courses

Niagara University's Office of Continuing Education is accepting registrations for its winter/spring 2014 schedule of courses. Credit-free classes and certificates are offered in person and online.

Courses, which run through May, are categorized as follows:

•Arts and crafts (glass staining, crochet, scrapbooking, quilting, etc.)

•Computers (Microsoft Office, iPad, Quickbooks, mobile apps, etc.)

•Certificates in financial planning; paralegal, medical billing, etc.

•Emergency management services (EMT, EMS, etc.)

•Health and wellness (wellness, nutrition, defensive driving, etc.)

•Learning and leisure (ballroom dancing, guitar, digital photography, tall ship cruises, etc.)

•Online courses (accounting, grant writing, job searching, Microsoft Suite, etc.)

•Online career training (pharmacy tech, medical coding/billing, Six Sigma, etc.)

Enrollment is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.

In addition, many credit classes are offered after 4 p.m. in a variety of subjects that go toward completing a degree.
