Celebrity Bartending Night to benefit Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation

The Brickyard Pub & BBQ, 432 Center St., in Lewiston, is hosting its 15th annual Celebrity Bartending Night from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug 23.

This year's bartenders include Andrew Peters, Buffalo Sabres alumnus; Kevin Sylvester, Buffalo Sabres Hockey Network; Adam Benigni, Lydia Dominick and Kristy Mazurek from WGRZ-TV Channel 2; John Percy of the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp.; Craig Avery, Niagara Hub; David Karwick, Key Investment Services; Annette Tomlin, First Niagara Bank; Jessica Strenkoski, M&T Bank; Tracy Paonessa, VIP Pharmaceuticals and Joshua Maloni, Niagara Frontier Publications/www.wnypapers.com, along with many other local celebrities.

Tickets will be available at the door for $10 each and include a high-end basket auction with most items valued at $150 each; split-club drawing, door prizes throughout; and finger foods.

Lakeside Blues Duo will provide live music on the patio. There will also be a live auction of a Buffalo Sabres "Media Game Day Experience."

All proceeds and tips benefit programs and services provided to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities through Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara. For additional information or to donate, call 297-6400, ext. 335, or email [email protected].

The mission of the Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation is to provide a long-term source of financial support that ensures people with developmental disabilities have opportunities toward independence and integration within the community.
