City of North Tonawanda Mayor Robert G. Ortt has announced that the longest running cruise night in Western New York will be coming to the city's Gratwick Riverside Park beginning on Wednesday, May 16. The popular "Shredd and Ragan Cruise Night" event, sponsored by 103.3 The Edge and promoted by Special Vending Inc., will be held every Wednesday night from May 16 through Sept. 12 (except for July 4 and 18).

The cruise night will have "Features of the week," which can be found online at www.wedg.com.  The weekly event will begin at 5:30 p.m., and is free to the public.

"This is a great event to bring to our city's waterfront.  Car and bike enthusiasts of all ages can come and visit our city, our waterfront, and the various vehicles showcased at this event," Ortt said.

Attendees are asked to refrain from bringing backpacks and coolers to the event. Vendors will be onsite offering food and beverage.
