While customers of Confetti Cottage Boutique and Café experience a unique shopping and dining experience, they can also help their community, thanks to boutique owners Deb Burns, Jessica Freeman and Carol Henschel. The owners, who are all retired educators, opened the boutique in November 2015. They have made it a priority to support the development of Niagara Falls and give back to the community.
Their latest effort raised funds for Camp Hope, Niagara Hospice's camp for grieving children. The boutique, located at 7917 Buffalo Ave., designated several days in June when shoppers could shop for a cause. The business donated 20 percent of its sales to Niagara Hospice.
"As a small business, we believe it is important to support our community. We are happy we were able to raise money for such a great cause," Henschel said.
Niagara Hospice has provided end-of-life comfort, care and support since 1988 to over 25,000 Niagara County individuals and families faced with terminal illness. For more information about Camp Hope and Niagara Hospice, visit
