On Saturday, Feb. 25, the U.S. Military Academy will perform two concerts on the Lockport Palace Theatre stage at 2 and 7 p.m.

The West Point Glee Club is one of the U.S. Military Academy's most visible cadet organizations. For over 100 years, its members have touched audiences around the world with a model depiction of the Corps of Cadets through live performance in the nation's finest concert halls, national television, network and feature film appearances, and recordings.

In recent years, the glee club has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Tanglewood, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Library of Congress and at Ground Zero on the first anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center. After a sold-out performance at the Palace last spring, the cadets are thrilled to be returning to Lockport.

Special ticket pricing is in effect to afford all the opportunity to enjoy this one-of-a-kind performance. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for students, veterans and active military. Tickets are available at Mills Jewelers and at the Palace Theatre box office.

The Palace is counting on community support and sponsorship to host the 70 cadets for the weekend. Two sponsor levels are available to local businesses and organizations. A Gold Sponsor level at $500 includes four tickets to the evening performance. A Black Sponsor level at $250 includes two tickets to the evening performance. Donations in any amount will offset the travel and other expenses of bringing this iconic group to Lockport.

For more information regarding sponsorship opportunities, or the event itself, contact the Palace Theatre at 716-438-1130 or email [email protected]. The venue is located at 2 East Ave.
