Donations can be dropped off at FeedMore WNY on Feb. 18

FeedMore WNY is calling on the Western New York community to collect donations of peanut butter for its “Spread the Love” food drive.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, FeedMore WNY will accept all donations of peanut butter at its warehouse located at 91 Holt St., Buffalo. Donations to the “Spread the Love” drive can also be made virtually at https://yougivegoods.com/peanutbutter2023.

FeedMore WNY relies on donations of peanut butter to support its partner food pantries and feed community members of all ages throughout its four-county service area. Peanut butter is also a staple menu item of FeedMore WNY’s “BackPack” program, which provides bags of nutritious food for children to take home each weekend when they are not receiving free meals through school.

“Peanut butter’s high protein content and long shelf life make it an ideal food to donate to our neighbors in need. It is something that we always need more of here at FeedMore WNY, especially now that our food drive donations have dramatically decreased after the holiday season,” said Betsy Campbell, volunteer and events coordinator for FeedMore WNY. “With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, we hope our community members open their hearts to ‘Spread the Love’ and make a donation virtually or in person.”
