Obituary: Margaret Ruth 'Peggy' (nee Dee) Tyran

Margaret Ruth "Peggy" (nee Dee) Tyran, age 86, died peacefully Sept. 14, 2022, after a brief illness.

Peggy was an avid reader and baker, and enjoyed working on crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her sons: Michael V. (Susan), David J. (Michelle) and Douglas R. (Tina); by her granddaughters: Amanda (Paul), Alyssa, Amy (Chris), Crystal (John) and Kelly (Adel); and by great-grandchildren: Alexander, Ava, Lucas, Lily, Aidan, Aaron, Evelynn and Adaline. She is survived by her siblings: Marion P. Habdo, Don (Colleen) Dee and Kathy (Larry) Prunotto; and by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ruth Dee, and her brother, John “Bud.”

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the Kaiser Funeral Home, 1950 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at St. Andrews R.C. Church, 1525 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda. Please assemble at the church.
