Shea’s Performing Arts Center is located at 646 Main St., Buffalo.

Tickets for “Jokes for Our Folks” are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and sheas.org. All net proceeds will be donated to Feed Buffalo, a Black-led organization with a passion and practice of providing healthy food access to families in need.

For more information on Shea’s Performing Arts Center, upcoming shows and other programs, visit www.sheas.org or follow Shea’s on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Feed Buffalo took root inside of founder Drea d’Nur, out of a need to feed her own Muslim family. After visiting several pantries, she noticed that none of them had halal food. She was determined to create a community pantry with healthy options that included halal food.

D’Nur is working to heal communities with a clear vision and healthy food initiative that focuses on Buffalo’s underserved communities, especially black and Muslim refugee communities.

Cedric The Entertainer is best known for crowd-pleasing performances in hit films such as “Barbershop,” “Be Cool,” “The Original Kings of Comedy,” and the top-ranking “Madagascar” animated franchise, just to name a few. He stars on the hit CBS comedy “The Neighborhood.”

Hughley is one of the most popular and recognized standup comedians on the road today. He has also made an impression in the television, film, book, and radio arenas. Hughley covers hot-button issues and entertainment as the host of his own afternoon radio show, “The DL Hughley Show,” which is nationally syndicated in over 60 cities across the country.

Washington, D.C.-based comedian, actor and voice-artist Earthquake earned a strong fan-base in standup comedy via programming platforms fueled by BET, HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime. Born Nathaniel Stroman, he entered America’s households on the classic run of BET’s “Comic View” and HBO’s comedic rites of passage program, “Def Comedy Jam.”

Whether he’s on tour playing huge theaters or doing special engagements at intimate clubs, whether he’s co-starring in major studio pictures or the leading man in an indie gem, whether he’s providing on-air radio talent or working as a voice-over artist, Curry is a versatile, funny man. A prolific standup comedian, he continually headlines top concert venues and major comedy clubs across the country.

Rodriguez is a comedian, actor and writer. Lauded by Esquire Magazine as “raucously funny,” she has become a favorite with fans and critics alike. Her first hour standup special, “Fighting Words,” is now streaming, and her own TV series is in development, both at HBO Max.
