Phoebe Bridgers to bring her reunion tour to Artpark Sept. 15

Phoebe Bridgers with special guest Muna will perform on the Artpark Amphitheater stage at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, as part of the “Coors Light Concerts Series” and presented by Artpark and Funtime.

Bridgers is an American indie-rock musician from Los Angeles. Known for her work as a solo singer-songwriter, she is also part of Boygenius (with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus) and Better Oblivion Community Center (with Conor Oberst).

Bridgers released her debut 7-inch, “Killer,” in 2015. A trio of buzzworthy singles, “Smoke Signals,” “Funeral” and “Motion Sickness” appeared in early 2017, in anticipation of the release of her Dead Oceans-issued debut LP, “Stranger in the Alps,” which arrived later that September.

She has gone on to collaborate with artists such as Dacus and Baker to form indie supergroup Boygenius, which released an EP in 2018. At the beginning of 2019, after many months of speculation, Bridgers surprise-released an album with a new group she formed with Oberst, called Better Oblivion Community Center.

Tickets go on sale at noon Thursday, Aug. 26, and are priced at $49.50 for general admission bowl (no chairs permitted). Prices include a facility fee; additional fees apply for online orders. and increase by $5 day of show. Purchase at the Artpark box office, 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday) and online at ticketmaster.com.

At the request of the artist, this event will require proof of vaccination for attendees ages 12 and up to attend. Negative tests will not suffice. Ticketholders must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after receiving the final dose) and provide proof of vaccination, which includes either an original vaccination card, a copy of proof of vaccination, or a picture of vaccination card that will be matched to one’s ID. Masks will be required for all staff and patrons.

The 2021 Artpark concert season is supported by Coors Light; Miller Lite; Wright Beverage Distributing; and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation.
