Obituary: Gloria F. Carlisi

Gloria F. (nee Sacco) Carlisi passed away on June 24, 2021.

The beloved wife of 58 years to Roy J. Carlisi Jr., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Sacco, and sister of the late John Sacco, Patricia Cerruti and Frank (Anna Maria) Sacco Jr. Gloria is sister-in-law of the late Charles and Joseph (Roberta) Carlisi; loving mother to Dawn (Michael) Iacano, Robin Carlisi, Victoria (Frank) Widmoser and Roy (Jenne) Carlisi; devoted grandmother of Michael Jr., Joseph, Anthony, Nicholas, Julia, Anthony, Tessa, Carmella, Marina, Lucianna, Gina, Christina, Roy Jr. and Joseph; and aunt to Frankie and Giovanni Sacco, Mel, Shawn and Michael Cerruti, David (Marietta) Carlisi and Cathy (Joseph) Carlisi-Popracki.

A former resident of Buffalo and Grand Island, Gloria resided in Palm Coast, Florida.

A memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 31, at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy, P.O. Box 448, Buffalo, NY 14215.
