Steve Boddecker and Ed Lilly, candidates vying for two seats on the Lewiston Town Board, are independent businessmen who own and manage successful businesses in Western New York. Their daily lives include making tough decisions requiring logical and thoughtful solutions. Both understand how hard people work to make a living, and said they will work tirelessly to help them keep as much of their income to raise and provide for families.

Therefore, each candidate is opposed to the recently imposed town tax. As businessmen, they said spending assets wisely is always top of mind. Both intend to establish a process by which citizen complaints can be reviewed and resolved to avoid expensive litigation.

A press release stated, “Steve and Ed are lifelong patriots and have the courage to defend the Constitution and the rights it guarantees. They will protect Lewiston’s citizens from the wrath of Albany, and they believe that for change to occur, it must start at the local level and go up. Please support both Steve and Ed to see these efforts through.”

Voting for the town’s Republican primary will take place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 22.
