Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York announces 3rd annual young professionals committee meat raffle

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York (RMHC of WNY) announced the third annual young professionals committee meat raffle will be virtual. Join it special guest star Rob Lederman live from the comfort of your own home at 7 p.m. Monday, March 15, via an interactive Zoom broadcast. All proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY.

Meat raffle tickets are $50 and include:

One entry for the meat raffle – a ticket contains three numbers.

Each ticket gives participants access to all 12 rounds of the meat raffle – each round has three spins, plus the final bonus round.

One entry into the 50/50 drawing.

There is also a grand-prize raffle. Those tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Grand-prize ticketholders are entered for a chance to win one of prizes, including:

√ A Frigidaire 8.7-cubic-feet chest freezer stocked full of meat and more, Generously donated by Orville's Home Appliances

√ A TCL 55-inch, class 4-series 4K UHD HDR Smart Roku TV

√ An autographed Buffalo Bills running back Zach Moss jersey

Additional 50/50-draw tickets can also be purchased for $5 each.

“We are delighted to share our meat raffle on a live platform, extending our reach for support to those who, in the past, have been unable to attend our in-person event,” said Tom Kane, chief development officer for RMHC of WNY. “All participants must be age 18 or older to enter. There are many ways to be involved. The winner need not be present to win. By participating in our virtual meat raffle, you are helping the families who call our house and hospital programs home, and you are helping us in our mission to keep families together. RMHC of WNY is a proud chapter of the national and international network of Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC of WNY is operated by a local volunteer board of directors. RMHC of WNY is responsible for its own fundraising and program priorities and is funded by donations from the local Western New York Community.

The mission of RMHC of WNY is to create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. For more than 35 years, the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House has served more than 21,000 families from Western New York, surrounding states and outside the U.S. Since inception, it’s had over 27,322 visits to the Ronald McDonald Family Room and more than 7,611 bedside visits with the Happy Wheels Cart (both located in John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital).
