Benefits key services at Oishei Children’s Hospital impacted by COVID-19, as Bills and Rachel’s extend partnership

The Buffalo Bills, Harrison Phillips and Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill have aligned to support John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) this month through the “Rachel’s Roundup” campaign. The three parties are advocating for fans to round up their bill each time they visit any Rachel’s location this month, as proceeds will benefit key service lines and programming at OCH that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Continuing to provide access to these services is critical to the health of children, mothers and families in our community,” said Dan Misko, Pegula Sports & Entertainment’s senior vice president of business development. “We’re calling on Bills Mafia to join the fight by rounding up to the nearest dollar each time they enjoy a meal at Rachel’s. Oishei Children’s Hospital and Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill are both incredible partners, and we’re proud to work together to help many children in our community.”

By participating in “Rachel’s Roundup,” customer dollars will benefit key services from across the region such as trauma, emergency medicine, and programs for children with complex conditions and special needs. Many of these areas have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, such as the Stone’s Buddies Program, a support system for children and families coping with chronic and life-threatening illness.

Harrison Phillips and the Bills have committed $5,000 to Oishei Children’s Hospital, and Phillips will be hosting a virtual event with many children in the program on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

"Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is honored to have our partners the Buffalo Bills and Harrison Phillips join us as we hold our second annual fundraiser for Oishei's Children's Hospital. We look forward to your contribution as we come together to support our community as one. With all of our help, we can provide necessary resources and awareness for our children, mothers and families,” said Joe Khoury, co-founder and CEO of Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill.

The “Rachel’s Roundup” program comes as the Buffalo Bills and Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill extend their multiyear partnership. Together, the Bills and Rachel’s will continue to expand their community-focused programming and collective offerings and benefits to the fans. Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill continues to be a proud partner of the Buffalo Bills and will also have increased visibility at Bills Stadium throughout the agreement.
